The only info the federal government is truly authorized to ask on the census is how many people live in any particular home. Period.

Anything else is an infringement on privacy and gives any unscrupulous power in authority (regardless of party) information that may be used against us at their convenience.

So, yes. Limit the census to information that the government requires in order to determine representation.Census Haters: Should the results of the census be restricted to its original intent?
That has been revised to count all persons no matter what their age equally. Now that part I have no problems with. If we went back to the original wording one Representative for every 30,000. Do you have any idea how many Representatives there would be in the house? There are roughly 285 MILLION legal US Citizens in the US.

HOWEVER, I do wish they would stick to just counting heads to determine the allocation of Representatives. And leave it to that.

But since you mentioned Representatives. How about having the districts drawn up by computers instead of the Gerrymandering that's done today.
