Please check my essay for errors, Thank you!?

The essay is about the amistad court case and why it was a landmark case in our history. Please check for grammar errors, and maybe stuff i should re-write. Thank you!

The Amistad court case was a landmark case in our history because it lead to the abolishment of slavery, the civil war, and it changed the economy of the USA because people no longer had slaves to farm for them. The Amistad shaped our country to what it is now, without the court case the abolishment of slavery would have happened a lot later, or not at all.

The Amistad lead to the abolishment of slavery because the slaves were freed and able to go back to Africa were the lived. This then sparked other rebellions which were against slavery. After the case more people fought for the abolishment of slavery because they saw hope in the protests, because in one court case the slaves were freed.

The Amistad lead to the Civil War because the Northerners thought that this was an opportunity to finally lead to the abolishment of slavery. The Southerners fought against the Northerners to keep slavery in place. Then eventually war between the south and the north finally erupted which then lead to the abolishment of slavery.

Since the Amistad lead to the abolishment of slavery the economy of the US changed because no w farmers would not just have someone to work their land for free, they would have to either work themselves or hire someone to do it for them. This made farming less profitable since most farmers were not able to farm their whole plantation by themselves.

The Amistad lead to the abolishment of slavery, the civil war, and the change of the US economy. The Amistad was such a landmark case because without it slavery would have been far more prominent in the US and the economy might have been far to dependent on slave trade. Please check my essay for errors, Thank you!?

If I were a teacher I would probably give your essay somewhere between c to B-, Mainly because it sounds like a child wrote it. If you are in High school or Middle school, I recommend you using more vocab and rephrasing. Also, remember your essay has to be super logical. If you think you can do better you can make the changes and read it over to your self. You can contact me by mail if you want more help at v_bluebeach@ymail.com

But, Good job soo far! Good Luck :D

The Amistad court case was a landmark case in our history because it led to the abolishment of slavery and the civil war. It also changed the economy of the U.S.A. due to people no longer had slaves to farm for them. The Amistad shaped our country into what it is now. Without this court case, the abolishment of slavery would have either happened a lot later in history, or may not have happened at all.

The Amistad led to the Civil War because the Northerners thought that this was an opportunity to finally abolish slavery. The Southerners fought against the Northerners to keep slavery in place. Then, war between the South and the North finally erupted, which then led to the abolishment of slavery.

Since the Amistad led to the abolishment of slavery, the economy of the U.S. changed because, instead of farmers having someone work their land for free, they would have to either work themselves or hire someone to do it for them. This made farming less profitable, since most farmers were not able to farm their whole plantation by themselves.

I'd change the end of your introduction to something like...."...the abolishment of slavery may have taken longer." or something like that. Else it seems you are sure of the course of a new history.

2nd paragraph..."...go back to Africa wHere theY lived." I capitalized letters you were missing

3rd paragraph, first sentence, remove the "no", the lone "w", the "just", change the "someone to" to "people". Make the last part of the sentence a new sentence, the part talking about them having to do their own work etc.

there may be other changes too, i am not an english major...
I rewrote it with the corrections and suggestions. :)
