True or False, US History Question. 10 points!?

True or False: Even though industry expanded in the Northeast during the early 1800s, agriculture remained the country鈥檚 leading economic activity.

I'm confused bc i thought North was mainly industry and the south was mainly plantations? Please help?True or False, US History Question. 10 points!?
False, because the Civil War was one of the earliest true industrial wars. Railroads, the telegraph, steamships, and mass-produced weapons were employed extensively during the war, which makes the industrial North a leading economic activity in the United States.

Here are some of the early industrialization of the 1790s to 1820s.
