All of us who have their roots from India and who are thinking of making a hoiliday home or retirement home in any peaceful place like Himachal Pradesh or Uttranchal in India, are invited to join the group to make a gated community in one of these beautiful places. As a foreign citizen, we are not allowed to buy any agricultural land or plantation land. But, I think if we make a society, register and take approval from the state government and RBI, we can make our retirement/holiday homes with less investment and in a proper way. I have read on a south indian community blog that some people got together and made a gated community in Ooty. I liked the idea and would like to do the same in North India.Gated community retirement/holiday homes for NRI's in Himachal/Uttranchal in India. Anybody interested?
