Well what the poor white trash rednecks that lost their plantations think that they will start another war? Well when? I mean it's 2007 now what do they think that they will start a war in 2088 or something? Why? Man I'm so glad that the north at least doesn't advertise their plans for world domination. Man no wonder all the important colleges like Harvard and Yale are in the North.Whats with this "THE SOUTH WILL RISE AGAIN" crap?

Those whites never had the money their families to own plantations nor hold slaves, perhaps they were whip crackers on the plantations working for Little more compensation than the slaves received.

The feeling in the South is one of deep resentment over losing the Civil War. In most places, you will hear them refer to it as the "War of Northern Agression" or some such. You'll find lots of bumper stickers of the Confederate flag, which is a direct result of the South forming its own country when they seceeded from the union.(It still flies high over Georgia, which was the seat of the Confederate government, I believe) In the news today you will occasionally her someplace like Kentucky, apologizing for its part in black slavery. But for the most part the South is still convinced they were personally cheated.
Your implication is that everyone in the south are ignorant rednecks, but the opposite seems to be the case. You apparently are a "northerner" as you would probably say are the ignorant one for asking this question and making the assertions that accompany it.... I feel sorry for you and anyone you come into contact with, and also please don't have kids.
