Please I need desperate help!!! Due Tommorow!!!?

Can Anyone tell me if this is good

Uncle Tom’s Cabin

Tom is a black slave that doesn’t only care about himself. He takes all of the aspects into mind. Throughout the book Tom shows love for the bible and his family. He feels that he can take any beating to protect the others. As shown at the Legree plantation, he would rather help a sick women and get beaten than whip her. Tom also wouldn’t run away at the Shelby plantation because the others would be sold. As you can see Tom is a very loving and caring man.

Stowe’s book describes some of the best situations in slavery. In Uncle Tom’s Cabin you are shown some of those moments. In the Shelby plantation, Tom is actually called “Uncle Tom” by the plantation owner’s son. Also at the Shelby plantation, they feel bad about having to sell Tom. This shows a lot of compassion towards the slaves. In the St. Claire plantation, Tom is very close to the owner’s daughter. One of the reasons why is because Tom saved her life. Also in the St. Claire plantation, Tom is asked his opinion about drinking. Mr. St. Claire had a drinking problem that was hurting his family life. Mr. St. Claire promised Tom that he would stop. These two great examples are probably some of the best situations in slavery.

Slavery is evil even under the best situations. Imagine waking up in the morning and being forced to work, whether it is labor or accounting, for free. You would have no rights to leave the farm or plantation. In other words you have about as many rights as a chair. Slave owners may be in debt, so you are in jeopardy of going to another plantation farther away from your family. As it is said, when it comes down to money everything changes.

As Tom moves away from his “pleasant” life at the Shelby and St. Claire plantation, he takes on to the Legree plantation. Mr. Legree was a very demanding man who, in other words, takes and doesn’t give to his slaves. At the Legree plantation, Tom stands up to Mr. Legree by saying that he won’t whip his fellow slave. This makes Legree mad and he decides to “break in Tom” (or whip Tom). After Cassie Emmeline run away, Legree comes to question Tom. Tom knows nothing about Cassie’s escape. Mr. Legree threatens to hurt Tom multiple times and finally decides to really “break him in for good”. As another form of humiliation, Legree has one of his slaves whip Tom. Eventually Tom dies and Mr. Legree is punished by Christopher (Mr. Shelby’s son). Tom stands up to Legree’s requests, even though he is punished to his death in the end.

There are many ways both a northerner and a southerner could have viewed Uncle Tom’s Cabin. In the North it stirred emotional feeling of the abolitionists. If some northerners were on the edge about slavery, they now felt like slavery was completely wrong from this new book. Even Honest Abe described Stowe as the “Little old lady that started a big war”. Most of the South thought that Stowe was over exaggerating on the subject or they were completely moved by the book (which I highly doubt). Based on what I have heard about the South, I think they thought that Stowe’s book is absolutely over-dramatized and ridicules. Please I need desperate help!!! Due Tommorow!!!?
The word "bible" needs to be capitalized if it refers to the Holy Bible. The last word should be "ridiculous" not "ridicules." Ridicules is a verb. Is this paper supposed to informative or argumentative? What I means is, was the assignment to summarize the book and give examples of the best and worst of slavery? Or was it to give your opinion about the book? If the report is strictly supposed to summarize and explain, then your opinions at the end are inappropriate. If you are supposed to give your opinion then it's fine, but you might want to elaborate on them. What have you heard about the south? Are you talking about now or back in Civil War times? Why do you think the book is over-dramatized? Give an explanation.

I can tell you that slaves were considered a commodity. They were very expensive, and slave owners did not treat them as frivolously as Stowe portrays. Slaves may have been beaten as punishment, but to beat one to death would be the modern day equivalent of intentionally totaling your car before you got insurance. Disobedient slaves were more likely to be sold than killed.
I have read Uncle Tom's Cabin. I know that Tom is killed. My statement that disobedient slaves were more likely to be sold than killed was not intended to express disbelief over the ending of the book.

Hi, Bob!
