slaves .. western africa, then to UK for auction, then to america for auction ...$3400 each msrp, at the time .. (our equivical price) .. so about the price of a good used car

It depends on what era... In the early days it was Native Americans.... Then it was the English and Irish Indentured servants.... eventually African slaves were used for a while too.



Out of all, the indentured servants were treated the worst though because the planters didn't have to buy them.
