Allo. My name is Otis. I live in the same countryside and farm as my great great great grandpappy did. He was famous for holding 90 slaves on his plantation. Im so proud of my grandpappy. Anyway, I live in somewhere that the area that folks call around here "mississippi". Stupid name aint it? Me and me old wife edith and 20 kids be wanting to move to the big city. The folks here dont know to much about it, but we do know, as one young whippersnapper told us, the name be new york and is north of here. One day me youngblood son be coming to me and say"bubba lets go to the big city". and i be saying no we happy here boy we gonna stay here. then he be telling me that there was something called a building which was made out of metal there and was supposed to be high. Then I be sayin okay boy we gon move there but if you be lying to me I be givin you what me grandpappy would do, 180 lashes boy. We be planning to take our old but lucky ford pinto for the journey. I be wanting to see what it look like and all that stuff. Tell me everything about the place youngbloods. Whats it like there? Any plantations? I be livin in just outside a lovely town called Pittsboro by the way.Tell me about that big city?
