I'm pretty sure it would be the first one, the one with the most plantations. The reason for succession was because the southern states wanted slaves. The south wasn't industrialized like the north was, so that knocks out number three. As far as two, they were part of the confederacy, but so were eleven other states, so scratch that one. And the fewest plantations doesn't make sense because the confederacy thrived on slaves and large plantations.I need help with the following question about the confederacy?
