Or you could look around in your own parish and see how many children need help. It is best to think globally but act locally.
As a resident of NC, any one reading the papers knows, tobacco is phasing out rapidly. The phrase "tobacco plantation" fell out of use a couple generations ago. the question has racist under tones, thinly veiled, not funny/not clever. Be part of the solution--not part of the problem.
I think it's ridiculous there are plenty of children in the United States that are poor and with out a family they just do that **** to glamorize themselves and it is pathetic.
