YOu should go to the library and research. May different people had different experiences. If this is for a paper at school, the you really need to get to library. Also look into modern day slavery, known as human trafficking. Slavery is NOT a thing of the past, it is a growing epidemic.
Why the hell is this question in this category (unless you're implying that slavery is gay or something)?

Truth be told, some slaves actually didn't have it too bad, especially the house ones. Not to say that slavery is right.Slavery ?
Hmm!!..Shouldn't history be history..I intend to live my thoughts in this century than going back to the past. Go to the library and get a history slavery book and read it.
How in hell would we know? None of us have been slaves, the best we could do is the same as you and read the first hand accounts in the history books!
