Was supposedly haunted by a major in the civil war fighting for the North. What is the history of the haunted plantation Freidland and Col Adams in Sealston Va.?
Friedland plantation is located in King George County, Virginia, nine miles southwest from King George Courthouse. Purchased in 1720, it was the "summer home" of Alexander Seymour Hooe. Hooe's three sons, Seymour, Mason, and Emmet all tragically died. In 1836 Friedland was left to Mason Hooe's children. In the Carmichael letters, Friedland is the address of E. B. Hooe, who was Elizabeth Barnes Mason Hooe, wife of Alexander Seymour Hooe.
