Like which of the three states has the strongest southern accent, southern hospitality, most spanish moss, southern plantation home, etc. etc. thanks a lot for your opinion!Which state has the most antebellum feel? South Carolina, North Carolina, or Georgia?
I imagine Georgia would give you want, but South Carolina is still fighting the civil war. The Stars and Bars fly on government property in South Carolina.
Any of the states you listed have progressed, at least a little. Granted, you won't find that cranky Yankee attitude as heavily down here, but you'll still be hard pressed to find a blond with curls who'll proclaim "Whai Iah -do- de-Claire!" North Carolina will probably be the worst area for you, because lots of older Yankees (New York breed, the worst) move to Florida, get tired of the heat, and move half-back, which plops them here.
Stay away from cities: Atlanta, Columbia, Raleigh, Charlotte, are getting heavily saturated with northern influence.Which state has the most antebellum feel? South Carolina, North Carolina, or Georgia?
South Carolina. If you don't believe me, go visit Chesterfield, Cheraw and Kershaw.
