Help me with my paragraph about the causes in the South over secession?

Okay, can you just copy and paste the paragraph and help me edit, delete or add some things to it? Thank you. Right now it doesn't flow well... AND NO WEBSITE LINKS..

The North and the South had very different interests and desires. The North was tied with industry and set up roads, railroads, and canals. The South had more desire for slave labor and agriculture. In Document 2, the graph shows how slaves make up the population, the income of the slave holder, and the income from slavery. So, slave labor did have a big impact of life in the South. A conflict started when the U.S. started opening the public lands of the West because Congress needed to make a balance of what would be free and slave states. The development of these lands were opposed in the South because it aided the free farmer and not the slave plantation owner. Another conflict developed over the tariff. The North wanted a high tariff, but the South wanted a low tariff to trade cotton with countries for inexpensive foreign goods. After that, another disagreement developed over the right of the federal government to prohibit slavery in the West. The number of free states kept increasing and it scared the South. In Document 1, most of the states were free states, except in the Southeast of the United states. They even threatened secession as a means of protecting state's rights.Help me with my paragraph about the causes in the South over secession?
Instead of saying scared I would say they were pissed, which they had a right to be, this country was founded on the idea of a strong state government not a central one like we have now because of the civil warHelp me with my paragraph about the causes in the South over secession?
The interest and desires of the North and South were very different. While the South had the desire for slave labor and agriculture, the North was tied to the industrial setup of roads, railroads and canals. The slave population, is shown in the graph of Document 2, along with the income of the slave holder and the income from slavery. A big impact on life in the south was slave labor. When opening public lands of the west, the balance of slave and free states sought by Congress, a conflict started.

Is this enough?

Try to be more creative when you write. For instance, "The North and the South had very different interests and desires"

The interest and desires of the North and South were very different.

'interest and desires' are the action words of the sentence and should be used first if possible.

Your grammar is excellent.
