I'm just starting a new book and I'd like some ideas for a name for the main character in it. She is sixteen years old and the book takes place in 1858 North Carolina. Her family owns a huge plantation and is of French descent. As for her, she has long, light ash-brown hair, big, misty-gray eyes, fair skin, and is about 5'7" tall; she's very, very pretty. However, her personality is vivacious, alluring, but also very selfish, hot-tempered, and bossy. She absolutely hates not getting her way. In her mind, it's her way or no way. She can also be extremely mean and manipulates people into doing what she wants. Again, her family is of French descent, so I'd appreciate French names (with nicknames, if possible).
